Mentor & Peer Leader Sign-Up Summer 2025

The UU Welcome Week is the introduction for all incoming international students at UU. This year it takes place from the 26th of August until the 29th of August 2025.

Mentors are a crucial part of the Welcome Week as they are the first point of reference for the new students and the person they turn to when they have questions.

Peer Leaders support the mentors by knowing the WW programme and leading their group through it.

1. Are you new to Utrecht (incoming student)? Sign up as Peer Leader!

2. Do you already know Utrecht/ the Netherlands/ the UU? Sign up as a Mentor!

Option:

Group Preference (Question for mentors only!)

A mentor group will consist of bachelor, master or exchange students. We will try to match you up with a group of students that is in the same stage of their studies (BA or MA), but we also need some mentors for exchange groups.

If you're a mentor, please select 'yes' and indicate your preference to mentor a group of degree or exchange students. If you're a peer leader, simply select 'no'.

We will provide you with a mentor t-shirt for you to wear during the week. Please note: we will attempt to give everyone their preferred shirt size. If we cannot give you your preferred size, we will contact you well in advance.

Explanation

You are registering as a Mentor or Peer Leader. For that, we ask all Mentors to fill out some data we need to complete your registration, in the following order:

1. Create an account

2. Fill out personal data

3. Overview

4. Confirmation

Please make sure to complete all steps!

Peer Leaders can use the account they already created for WW the sign-up!
